2 days after footballer Patrick Ekeng's death, female Camerounian goalkeeper dies during warm-up

Barely two days after midfielder Patrick Ekengdied collapsed during a match of the Championship of Romania, the Cameroonian Football Federation has been struck by yet another tragedy.

The Cameroon football federation (Fecafoot) announced on Sunday, May 8, the passing of the goalie of the Femina Stars of Ebolowa, Jeanine Christelle Djomnang, during a first division match against club de Louves Minproff.

Based on early reports, the young woman collapsed during warm-up and died few minutes later.
