Liverpool vs Borussia Dortmund: Dejan Lovren scores incredible last-gasp winner

With the loss of Jordan Henderson many expected Joe Allen to be included to help protect Liverpool’s back four – and their away goal. Klopp was having none of it, opting for Roberto Firmino and going on the attack. It was quite a statement from the Liverpool manager and it backfired horribly within nine minutes.

Liverpool’s central midfield was not just exposed, it was missing in action during the first half as Dortmund took advantage to score twice in nine minutes.

The second half though was a different story and Liverpool's relentless positivity vindicated Klopp's bold selections.
You couldn't explain it. It wasn't logical. It was kind of destiny, if you have such a strong belief then things can happen.

We had a goal and we did not achieve it. We did not do it, we did not make it. If things like this happen you must accept it and honour it. You must take defeat like a champion - that's the performance we must show now.

We never came three goals away but still it should be enough. A very nice goal for the 3-1 and then we lost control, I don't know why, it never felt like we would lose.

Can Liverpool go all the way?

Yeh of course but I don't care.
