Yesterday, 50 Cent appeared before a Connecticut bankruptcy judge for another hearing and the judge slammed him for taking a photo of himself during the last appearance in the courtroom, a photo which shows wads of money under his wasitband.
“That’s not funny,” Judge Ann Nevins told 50 Cent yesterday. “While you’re in this courthouse, there is nothing funny going on. This is very serious stuff. I would appreciate it very much if we could keep it that way.”
Recall that the G-Unit rapper was summoned by a U.S. bankruptcy court judge who believes he is dishonest with his claim of being bankrupt when his IG page is filled with photos of himself surrounded by cash. In court, the rapper’s lawyer claimed that the cash displayed were simply Prop Money – fake cash used mostly in music videos and films, that he was simply showing off as part of social media marketing.
But the judge maintains that he should show seriousness. “You should all have been advised that there are no electronic devices in this courtroom and that has been extended to conference rooms,” the judge continued, adding, “I’m not telling anybody how they can exercise their rights to free speech, but I want to keep things very serious here.” But is ‘Get Rich,
Die Tryin’ rapper feeling repentant? Moments after he stepped out of court, he responded to the press who asked what he feels about the judge’s comments. “That’s not me anymore,” he said, but he quickly took to Instagram to post this:
