Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) has blown up a crude export line operated by ExxonMobil in Akwa Ibom State.
This was disclosed by NDA spokesperson, Brigadier General Mudoch Agbinibo via a statement on the group’s website.
The statement reads:
“At about 7:30pm, yesterday July 11th, the Niger Delta Avengers blow up ExxonMobile Qua Iboe 48" crude oil export pipeline.”
“When will these International Oil companies (IOC) learn to listen? We (Niger Delta Avengers) said no export.”
The group had earlier warned that it would no longer allow oil to be exported out of the troubled Niger Delta region.
