Cuba Gooding reacts to the death of officer Zamarripa killed by the Dallas sniper

Cuba Gooding had a chance meeting with 32 year old father of a toddler, Patrick Zamarripa, one of the officers killed in Dallas by sniper Micah Xavier Johnson.

Actor, Cuba Gooding Jr said he cried when he learned he met slain Dallas police officer Zamarripa and had posed for a picture with him in February.

On February 25, Zamarripa tweeted a photo showing him and his partner, both in uniform, with the star. He wrote:

'The great @cubagoodingjr. Thanx for taking the pic with my partner and I. Hope your stay in ‪#‎Dallas‬ was great sir!'

"I cried today when I heard that," Gooding told TMZ on Friday.
