2013 concert in Nigeria. TMZ states that Chris Ubosi of Megalextrics paid two Rihanna representatives $160,000 for a performance scheduled in May of 2013.
Apparently, the show was put off and a rescheduled concert date was never made, leading to a cancellation. Now, the Lagos company wants a $160,000 refund. Ubosi is suing singer Rihanna, her label, and label head Jay Z.
Interestingly, Rihanna’s camp claims that Ubosi got finessed. Her management reports that they never received payment for services nor were they aware of a show.
Sounds like Ubosi got scammed! This case probably won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.
