A woman was fortunately rescued from inside a black Pajero jeep last weekend after she panicked and veered off the road and fell into an open drainage along MCC by Boston Hotel in Calabar the Cross Rivers State capital.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to CrossRiverWatch, the woman was driving towards Mobil by MCC when she veered off the road because she was scared by the barrage of cars driving behind her.One of the eyewitnesses who spoke under anonymity said that the unidentified woman would have sustained serious injuries if not for the timely intervention of passers-by who came to her rescue immediately the accident happened.
