Photo: 15-year-old IDP digging through refuse in Maiduguri looking for something to sell in order to survive

According to UNICEF Nigeria, 15-year-old Muhammadu Modu who was displaced by the conflict in the North East now survives by digging through a rubbish dump in Maiduguri, looking for things to sell, making less than a dollar after two to three days’ effort. He can’t afford to go to school.
