Janet Jackson's brother Tito confirms she does not have a surrogate, she's carrying her own baby

Janet's brother Tito Jackson confirmed that his pregnant sister, 50 year old Janet Jackson is actually carrying her own child and isn't using a surrogate like some people had rumoured was the case.


Janet had announced back in April that she would be taking a break from her Unbreakable tour due to doctor's orders, and at the time said she was planning a family with her husband.

According to People magazine, her brother Tito has confirmed that Janet is carrying the baby herself. He said Janet and her husband worked with a fertility specialist for some time to help her get pregnant. In May, a source told E! that Janet was in her second trimester, and Tito recently confirmed that Janet's doing

During an interview on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live on Monday, Tito said:

"She's taking it easy. As you know, she's off tour, protecting her health".
