Ex-Super Eagles international Ike Shorunmu has been appointed by Lagos based club Ikorodu United as it's new goalkeeper coach as the club aims to escape relegation this season.
The management of the Lagos based outfit also announced Shakiru Giwa as assistant to new coach Theodorus Jacob de Jong’s as they continue their fight against relegation.
“The management of Ikorodu United is glad to announce the addition of new assistant coach and goal keeper trainee, Shakiru Giwa and Ike Shoromu,” a statement from the team read.
Ikorodu United are bottom of the NPFL table with just 15 points from 21 games.
