Former New Orleans Saints defensive end - Will Smith and his wife, Racquel, were both shot after Will exchanged words with the driver of a Hummer H2 that rear-ended his Mercedes G63 SUV when they were out and about. The shocking incident left the former NFL player instantly dead and his wife hospitalized.

Will Smith's widow, Racquel, who has now recovered a little, accepted her late husband's graduate degree posthumously during University of Miami's commencement ceremony today.
