Kim and Kanye West don’t fool around when it comes ex employees violating confidentiality agreements. According to TMZ, the couple has threatened their former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, with a $30 million lawsuit.
TMZ reports that the bodyguard blabbed to news outlets that he was fired for “chatting up Kim Kardashian on the job and making Kanye jealous.”
Like most celebrities do for their privacy sake, Stanulis previously signed a confidentiality agreement that promised that he would not speak about the couple or their family to anyone. The bodyguard also signed off on a provision within the agreement that he’s on the hook for $10 million if he does violate it. So far, the couple’s legal team believes Stanulis has participated in at least three interviews, totaling the penalty amount to $30 million.
While the couple appears serious about the situation, they do allegedly have a heart after all. They apparently offered the bodyguard an ‘out’ if he ceases media interviews and issues a public apology to the family.
Hopefully, homeboy takes the deal because Kimye doesn’t play about confidentiality agreements. In 2013, the couple went for YouTube founder Chad Hurley’s head when he filmed Kanye’ marriage proposal to Kim after signing a confidentiality agreement. TMZ reported that in October Hurley had to dish out a whopping $440,000 bucks for the violation.
