Army confirms rescue of one of the missing Chibok girls, six of the girls reportedly dead


 
 
The Nigeria Army has released a statement confirming the rescue of one of the missing Chibok girls named Amina Ali Nkeki from Mbalala village in Borno state. The short statement released on the Army website and signed by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, reads

"This is to confirm that one of the abducted Chibok school girls, Falmata Mbalala, was among the rescued persons by our troops at Baale near Damboa." Meanwhile, Activists and the Chairman of Chibok Community Abuja says the rescued girl informed them that six of her classmates were dead. See his tweets
