Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has donated 50 mass transit buses into the operations of the Bus Rapid Transit scheme. According to him, this will help Lagosians manage well the new price increment in petrol and will also reduce traffic on Lagos roads.
Fola Tinubu, the Managing Director, Primero Transport Limited, also said the governor’s gesture would not only cushion the effect of fuel price, it would stabilise transport fares.
