A disturbing video has emerged showing some soldiers subjecting a group of men to torture in Rivers State.
According to the source of the video, eight men, identified as official party agents of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) were arrested at Ward 8 in Okrika Local Government Area of the state.
The soldiers, who are believed to be under the command of the minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, ordered the men to sit on the ground, then began to order them to roll around on the ground as punishment.
The soldiers are armed and the short clip also contains an audio of a soldier’s calling for a “koboko”. A koboko is a torture instrument used to flog people.
