Justin Bieber sent his fans into a frenzy with an Instagram photo this weekend, but there's only one fan whose response really matters. He posted a throwback pic of himself and Selena Gomez in the throes of young love, kissing in the water. The caption? "Feels."
The sound you hear is iPhone screens worldwide cracking as Jelena fans drop their phones in excitement.
Although the comment is a sweet step in the pro-Jelena movement, Both Bieber and Gomez have been vocal about their — albeit distant — support and love for one another. In an interview with GQ, he said, "We don’t talk often, but we’re cordial. If she needs something, I’m there for her. If I need something, she’s there for me." Gomez is more open about needing distance from her ex. In a January interview with Rolling Stone, she answered a question about Bieber with the icy, "What I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him."
The photo has already gotten 2.8 million likes on Instagram. Let's all take a minute and imagine the "break the Internet" moment that would occur if these two lovebirds finally reunited.
