A 63-year-old Pennsylvania man, Douglas Kohen , who was involved in a child sex abuse case fired six shots into the child's home while she was playing with her friend and her father after he was released on bail. After he shot into the house, he tried to escape in his car but got involved in an accident which led to his capture.
Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan says Kohen now faces charges of attempted murder and witness intimidation added to his child sex charge.
Hogan says the shots went through the wall and into a second home, fortunately, no one was injured.
Acting Downingtown Police Chief Howard Holland says Kohen was caught within hours and has been charged in January with corruption of minors and other offenses related to abuse of a child on Monday.
