Madonna set to have peace talk with Guy Ritchie over Rocco’s custody

Looks like Madonna is finally ready to swallow her pride and settle for a peace talk with the father of her eldest child. Four months after she got into a bitter custody war with her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie over their son Rocco, Madonna has reportedly requested that the three should sit and iron it out face to face.
According to a source close to Ritchie, the settlement will involve no lawyer. “There will be no lawyers.” The source said.

Rocco who is just 15-year-old is still pushing to live with his more permissive 47-year-old dad in London instead of his strict 57-year-old mother in NYC. Rocco made this decision after he left his mother’s Rebel Heart tour in December and he has since refused to return home for the holidays. According to the source, “Rocco feels that she is more concerned with proving Guy wrong than with what he wants.

Another source close to Madonna reportedly revealed that she is worried about reaching Ritchie to spill out the details of the meeting, though the location and date have not yet been decided.
“Madonna is pushing to resolve things, but Guy recently disappeared to the Maldives with Rocco. He isn’t resolving anything now,” the insider was quoted to have said.
Madonna and Ritchie split in 2008 after eight years of marriage and Madonna has had custody of their eldest son, Rocco, ever since.

At a hearing in London on the 21st of March, Madonna’s lawyer said to a High Court judge, “She wants to chart a course for Rocco and the family to help put this behind them and restore peace to the family.”
On March 27, the Queen of Pop shared on Instagram images of a homemade colourful and gem-encrusted Easter eggs with the names of her children and pets, including an egg for Rocco.
