Ex-DGN President says Fred Amata’s election is free and fair
Outgoing President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, Andy Amaenechi has revealed that the election that brought incoming president, Fred Amata into the guild is the most free and fair in the guild.
Speaking exclusively to Pulse, Amaenechi disclosed that the election has been tagged the most credible in the history of the guild and movie industry.
“The election can be described as the most free, fair and credible election since the guild kicked off and even in Nigeria. And as I speak to you, no one has spoken ill about the electoral process or the outcome,” he said
When asked if he had rooted for a candidate, the director of famous epic movie, Igodo, said, ‘When the candidates were declared, I told all of them that I support them all but would never endorsed one and that I stuck to. I had asked around, who members think would win among the candidates and no one could tell and even I couldn’t determine, who would eventually win the election.’
