Buhari Appoints Fashola’s Former Deputy, Orelope-Adefulire SSA On SDGs

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire as his Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mrs. Orelope-Adefulire, who was deputy to Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, himself, now a Minister, was appointed Buhari’s SSA on SDGs Monday.
A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, described the appointee as an accomplished politician with many years of experience in public service.
The statement noted that Mrs. Orelope-Adefulire had also served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos State.
