As students of the university continue to bare their grievances on the increased school fees, lecturers at the Lagos State University (LASU) in the Ojo area of the state have embarked on an indefinite strike.
The aggrieved lecturers are said to have described the industrial action as “total, comprehensive and indefinite”.
The development was disclosed by the Chairman of the LASU branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Dr. Adekunle Idris who said that the strike was necessary because the authorities of the university had failed to meet the lecturers’ demands.
