FREDY GUARIN WANTED BY WOLFSBURG.

Fredy Guarin so very nearly left Inter Milan in January, before signing an extended contract. Chelsea and Manchester Unitedhad been linked with Guarin in the winter window, while the player almost completed a move to Juventus. But, with Wolfsburg now interested, could the Colombian perform another u-turn?
Guarin had appeared set to leave the San Siro in in the winter transfer period as Inter negotiated with Juventus regarding a proposed swap deal for Mirko Vucinic. The plug was pulled, however, amid much consternation from supporters of both teams.
And, despite penning a new deal only in March, it is reported by La Gazetta Dello Sportthat Wolfsburg are considering an approach to sign Guarin during the summer transfer window. But would Inter be willing to sell if the price is right?
Inter are set to complete something of an overhaul over the coming months and it could be that Guarin slides down the selection order. Erick Thohir, who became Inter president in September, has shown great ambition in his quest to establish the club as a force once more, with a number of marquee stars on his radar.
Nemanja Vidic has agreed a deal to join Inter from Manchester United, will Patrice Evra could follow his former captain from Old Trafford. Javier Hernandez is a target for Inter, as is Fernando Torres, and their team in 2014-15 could be rather different to the one that began this season.
